We're all busy. Between work, socializing, and staying up to date on Game of Thrones and The Bachelor, no one has time to add an extra step to their beauty routine. We all know we need to wear sunscreen every day in the summer months, but it takes long enough to get out the door as it is without having to lather an entire extra layer on our faces every morning before work. There is good news, though — there are plenty of moisturizers with SPF in them that will hydrate your skin while protecting it from the sun.
There are a few things you should know when choosing one of these miracle moisturizers to add to your routine. Only one of the products you use every day needs to have SPF in it, so if your moisturizer has it you can skip over a protective powder or foundation. (Fun fact: You can't add up the amount of SPF all of the products you're wearing has — that's not how it works. The amount of SPF you have one is equal to the product with the highest SPF.) To get the full protection offered on the bottle, you need to apply a half of a teaspoon of the product to your face. Even if you're wearing makeup, you should reapply your sunscreen once or twice a day to make sure you stay safe.
