It's been an amazing week for the sexagenarian beauties of the world! On the heels of yesterday's news about Charlotte Rampling teaming up with NARS comes the equally awesome announcement about Marc Jacobs Beauty naming Jessica Lange as the new face of their cosmetics line. Marc Jacobs tweeted a photo of the American Horror Story: Coven star yesterday, sharing the news with their followers.
The first shot from the campaign shows Lange looking off in the distance with a shadow cast on her gorgeous face. She wears a a peach-colored lip, a smoky eye, full brows and soft curls. It was photographed by David Sims, who also shot the spring 2014 Marc Jacobs Collection campaign (after Jacobs' regular photog Juergen Teller refused to shoot Miley Cyrus for his ads).
This isn't the first time Jacobs and the 64-year-old beauty have teamed up. Lange lent her eerie yet sexy voice to the spoken-word soundtrack of his fall runway show.
Earlier this year, the talented actress announced her retirement from her acting career, but from the looks of it, she won't be leaving the spotlight anytime soon. We're SO glad to see Lange is busy at work!
