Yolanda Hadid Shares Major News

Well, Real Housewives fans, the time has come for another fan favorite to leave the bunch. Yolanda Hadid is leaving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The star announced her departure on her Instagram account on Wednesday, and her reasoning is something any fan could understand. Basically, it sounds like she wants to regain some privacy in her life as she continues her battle with Lyme disease.

Yolanda wrote in a lengthy caption:

I would have loved a more graceful exit then "Season 6" but sometimes we don't get to control the endings of the chapters in our life............ I am leaving what's over without denying its past importance in my life. I believe that every exit is an new entry and with that in mind I say goodbye to my@Bravotv Family as I continue to focus on a my recovery, my children and bring back the privacy within our Home........... Thank you to all the fans for your love and unwavering support these past 4 years. I am grateful for the housewife experience and all it has thought me. Now, it's hard to know at this point how exactly Yolanda left the show — whether it was totally her decision or if the cast was reworked by producers. (The "we don't get to control the endings of the chapters in our life" may hint that it wasn't completely her choice.) But it sounds to me like regardless of that, she had good reasons for ending her time on the show either way. Fans have seen Yolanda's struggle with Lyme disease and it was a major plot point on the most recent season, which had to be difficult.

Even though Yolanda is leaving the show, I doubt we've seen the last of her. Not only are her two daughters, Bella and Gigi Hadid, world famous models who Yolanda loves showing her support for, but she's also been very open about her life, including her illness, on social media. And hey, maybe after she takes a break for a while, she'll be open to a spinoff. Fans would love it.
