Which Of JoJo's Men Will Be Going To 'BiP'?
Time to start mixing those cocktails and getting ready for summer, because PEOPLE has revealed what may very well be our first look at the first few members of the Bachelor in Paradise cast — and, based off of it, it's clear this season is promising to bring back some of your favorite contestants. (ABC, for the record, has not revealed an official press release confirming this news.) But so far, it’s mostly the women who have been announced to be coming to the island of love. PEOPLE announced on Wednesday who the first six contestants to play for love in Paradise would be. Most of them are from Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor, but there are a few from other seasons as well: Playing for love this season, according to PEOPLE, will be Season 20’s Jubilee Sharpe, Lace Morris, Amanda Stanton, Hayley Ferguson, Emily Ferguson, Izzy Goodkind, and Leah Block. They’ll be joined by Season 17’s Sarah Herron, Season 19’s Carly Waddell, and The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise alum, Jared Haibon. But it’s no surprise really that the cast mates announced so far are mostly women. With JoJo’s season of The Bachelorette still airing, there are 26 ready and willing guys to choose from for this season of Bachelor in Paradise. If we’re lucky, most of the guys who will be coming to Paradise will be coming from JoJo’s season The Bachelorette.
So who will the guys from JoJo’s season be who join this group of lucky contestants? If I had my way it will definitely be some of my favorites from this season of The Bachelorette.
Alex
Sure, he’s currently busy vying for JoJo’s heart, but I have a feeling that he won’t make it all the way to the end. Sorry, Alex. Still, this nice and articulate guy would make a great match for any number of the already announced female contestants.
James S.
As a super fan of the show, James would be the perfect contestant to bring back for Paradise. Especially since he was voted off so early during JoJo’s season. We never really got to see his fan flag fly, and I really, really want to see that happen.
Christian
With a compelling backstory and super sweet interactions with JoJo, I was surprised when he didn’t receive a rose on The Bachelorette. But no worries, Christian. That just means there’s more love for you in Paradise.
Ali
The fact that this super sincere guy didn’t make it past the first few weeks in the mansion makes me lose all faith in love. I was gunning for him to go all the way, which means I am now gunning for him to find love in Paradise.
Derek
Derek is a star in the very dark Bachelorette sky these days. Considerate, sincere, and totally controlled and articulate while standing up to Chad, this guy had me from the start. If he doesn’t make it all the way to the end of The Bachelorette — and if he doesn’t become the next Bachelor — someone better cast him on this spin-off or I’m going to be devastated.
Nick B.
Another great guy who, when JoJo sent him home, I wanted to shake her silly.
Evan
I only say Evan because…
Chad
My whole theory is that Chad is stirring up drama in the house because he’s gunning hard for a spot in Paradise. Or, at least, I hope that's why.
We’ll have to wait until the season is over to find out for sure, but Paradise would be lucky to have any of these guys play the game.
