This Is Kylie Jenner's Newest Matte Shade

Hold onto your credit cards, people, because Kylie Cosmetics has a new shade for you and it's what we've all been waiting for. Dark, moody, and velvety-good, this new black liquid lipstick is a must have. If you're wondering what Kylie's black matte lip kit is called, I'm here to give you the deets.

Kylie Jenner took to her personal Instagram to announce the release of her black matte lip kit. It's called Dead Of Knight and Kylie Cosmetics will be launching it this Friday, June 10. It's a matte black shade, and it's coming right on the heels of her announcing the black metal matte lip kit, KyMajesty, which is also launching "this month," which to me, sounds a lot like it's happening on Friday as well.

So why a matte black in the middle of summer? Besides the fact that I'm calling it the It color of the season, Jenner gave the following explanation on her Insta post: "DEAD OF KNIGHT this shade is for you guys! When I asked what lip kit you would love to see next for Kylie Cosmetics the majority of you surprisingly said BLACK! So before I release KyMajesty... my black lip kit is coming this Friday! #DeadOfKnight."

I love that Jenner is really listening to her customers and delivering. This Lip Kit will be totally worth the $29, since we know that you can use Kylie Cosmetic Lip Kits in a million different ways. In addition to using it on your lips, you could definitely consider using this black liquid lip and liner as a liquid or pencil eyeliner — and who doesn't need more black eyeliner?

From the looks of it, this matte black is the same formula as her other kits, but has some sheen or shimmer like it's metal matte sister, KyMajesty.

Personally, I'll be trolling Jenner's Instagram, Snapchat, and app until she announces the exact time of her restock launch, because both of these black beauties are a must have.
