Gigi Hadid's Dad Has Something To Say About #Zigi

It looks like this is one more piece of evidence that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are actually still together: Her dad didn't even know they had broken up! (Not that dads are the authority on their kids' relationships, but still, a close family member being completely unaware that an alleged breakup even happened is rather telling.) TMZ caught up with Mohamed Hadid over the weekend, and Gigi's dad seemed surprised as anything when the videographer asked how his daughter was "holding up."

"What? I didn't even know there was a breakup," he replied when the pap informed him that rumor has it that #Zigi had called it quits. "I have not met Zayn but I have heard he is a very, very nice guy."

To further squash any rumors of a split, Gigi's father revealed that he had just seen his daughter earlier that day and the topic of the reported breakup never came up.

"I had breakfast with her this morning," he said. "I don't think there's anything going on."

"I think probably they are [still together]," he added as he drove away, pulling down his sunglasses over his eyes. (Clearly, Gigi inherited her badassery from both sides of the family.)

In all seriousness, this is the latest string of ~events~ in the wake of the alleged Zayn/Gigi breakup that prove that maybe there wasn't actually a breakup at all. On Friday, Gigi said in an interview with Elle that her she prefers having a cozy night in "with my boyfriend" as opposed to going out.

"Night in. Cook. Paint. Play with my dog. Hang out with my boyfriend," she replied. "Watch movies. Just chill."

This, of course, comes on the heels of her singing Malik's "Pillowtalk" on Snapchat:

Looks like when an E! source said that "Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow," they meant it literally.
