You Have To See Lana Del Rey As A Blonde

It has been quite a week in the world of Hollywood hair change-ups. First Selena Gomez went "bronde," then Eva Longoria debuted blonde highlights, and now yet another starlet is flaunting lighter locks. Lana Del Rey dyed her hair blonde, and the drastic transformation is definitely her most dramatic look ever.

Unlike Longoria and Gomez, who simply added subtle bright streaks to their tresses, Del Rey went for a full-on mane change. The 30-year-old was spotted at LAX airport on Wednesday when she first revealed her new 'do, reports the Daily Mail. Flaunting a golden beige shade of blonde, slightly leaning towards the border of platinum, the songstress was nearly unrecognizable. Combined with her boho-chic ensemble comprised of light-wash jeans, a printed shawl, and oversized sunnies, as PEOPLE points out, she could have easily been confused for Jennifer Lawrence circa American Hustle.

Notorious for her fiery red strands, I have always found it pretty difficult to picture the singer with anything other than crimson-colored hair. I have got to admit, though, the lighter shade suits her remarkably well, and what better time to go light than with summer right around the corner?

This actually isn't the first time Del Rey has had blonde hair. According to PEOPLE, she rocked the shade back in 2010, but it has certainly been a while.
