12 Guys Who Could Be The Next ‘Bachelor’

Call me impatient, but it’s always right around the time that I start distinguishing between the contestants’ faces on a new season of The Bachelorette that I start dreaming about all of the guys who could be the next Bachelor. I know we have months to go before JoJo Fletcher picks a winner on her season of The Bachelorette, let alone before ABC reveals who will follow her as the next Bachelor, but that certainly hasn’t stopped me from compiling a mental list of the eligible guys who might make the best options. Because there are a lot of amazing men who would be perfect for the role of the next Bachelor.

And they come from all walks of life. Some are from JoJo’s season of The Bachelorette, sure, but there are plenty of guys who are completely unrelated to the Bachelor franchise that I think would make killer contestants on a show that’s all about finding love. I mean, there is more to getting on The Bachelor than having starred on a show within the Bachelor franchise. There are a number of other guys who would be perfect for the job, because of the fame and intrigue that they would bring to the table.

1. Jordan Rodgers

That is, if he doesn’t win the whole thing, JoJo’s heart and all.

2. JoJo’s Brothers

These two fan favorites would make amazing contestants on The Bachelor. Especially since they seem to take no prisoners when it comes to making sure contestants are there for the right reasons.

3. Ali

I love this sweetie with all of my heart, which means JoJo likely won’t. All the more reason for him to star in the best season of The Bachelor everrrrr.

4. Chad

His season would likely top Juan Pablo’s in misogyny, that's for sure.

5. Christian

If you ask me, this guy is being set up for Bachelor status. As a sweet and sensitive guy with a compelling backstory, I think he could go all the way.

6. Derek

The Jim Halpert of the group, this guy is the most real in the bunch. Don’t tell me Bachelor nation wouldn’t totally lose it over this guy trying to find love.

7. Luke

I think Luke is going to go far enough in the competition to be the one that millions of viewers fall in love with. Plus, imagine all of the ridiculous and borderline offensive graphics ABC would have a field day with given that he is a veteran.

8. Jake Pavelka

I mean, why not. They already brought him back once, and that special he did with Vienna Girardi was a huge ratings hit for ABC. Maybe bringing him back as The Bachelor would have the same effect.

9. Brad Womack

Third time’s a charm?

10. Tim Tebow

Go big or go home, I say, and I know ABC would die to have an actual famous bachelor on the show.

11. James Taylor

But, like, the real James Taylor.

12. Frankie Grande

Oh wait. I’m mixing up my reality shows. But just imagine.

I think any of these guys would make excellent selections for the next Bachelor. It would certainly make the show even more interesting than it already is.
