Alex's Height Shouldn't Matter On 'Bachelorette'

There are a lot of guys that are not ideal on this season of The Bachelorette, for a million different reasons. There were a few heavily intoxicated guys who could have rightfully been cut and there was Chad who is pretty terrible. Of course there are valid reasons to withhold a rose but one of the reasons to cut someone from the running definitely should not include something a person cannot control. So, Alex's height shouldn't matter, Bachelorette fans.

Unfortunately, after the premiere episode it seemed like Alex has been getting a lot of flak for being 5'7", according to his show bio. This is kind of baffling to me. First of all, JoJo is only 5'4", according to her bio. Secondly, why does it matter how tall he is? Alex is a really standup guy and he seems like he would be a really good match for JoJo. Alex's bio also says that he is a former Marine and if you take a look at his social media accounts, it's pretty clear that he is close to his family which is a perfect complement to how JoJo is with her family. Remember how protective her brothers were of her when Ben came to visit last season on The Bachelor? He seems like a great match for her.

Unfortunately viewers have not been kind about poor Alex's stature and they need to stop now.

Some Spoke For JoJo

I'm fairly certain that JoJo is not the type of lady to cut somewhere purely over something trivial like height. She seems ready to get to know these guys and I hope she gives Alex a real chance. And, everyone else can just stop.
