It's no secret that Muggles and No-Majs all the world over have their ears pressed to the ground, hoping for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child spoilers. So Rowling has been pretty tight-lipped, only sharing pictures of the Cursed Child cast and a picture of their wands — but today Rowling revealed information about Cursed Child on Twitter that may or may not make you happy, depending on how much of a masochist you are. Remember when you were so swollen with grief for all your fictional faves when you finished the seventh book? Get ready for Round Two, y'all, because this one is going to be a tearjerker.
A user tweeted at Rowling this morning "Will the Cursed Child make me cry?" And unsurprisingly, Rowling responded: "If it doesn't, we'll be checking your vital signs." So it's official, Potterheads — time to invest a bunch of stock in tissue companies, because we're all going to be drowning in them soon. Now that we know that the script to Cursed Child will be published in book form, it looks like none of us are going to be safe from the tidal wave of sadmotions headed our way.

Oh, but friends. It gets worse. Queen Rowling is a merciless and unrepentant ruler (forever may she reign), and yet again has reminded us that she is not afraid to use her powers of #feels.
I'd be like, "nah guys, it's chill, everything's going to be okay," but the last time we let J.K. Rowling decide the details of the plot and character and world she created — well. Things didn't turn out so pretty for us.
Obviously there's no word yet on what exactly will leave us in a puddle of recycled Potter tears, but we don't really have to stretch our imaginations too far to guess. Rowling revealed that the plot will center around Albus Severus Potter, Harry and Ginny's younger son and the "cursed child" in question, who now lives with the burden of his father's legacy. Harry too will be coming to terms with ghosts from his past. My guess is that Draco and Scorpius Malfoy will come into play in a big way here — both in terms of Harry confronting his demons, and the next generation dealing with the schisms that the original left behind. With Albus and Scorpius in the same year at Hogwarts, it would make sense for us to see interactions between the two of them in particular.
In any case, I'll be seeing all of you in our shared glass case of emotion come this July.
