It's Creeper Day! Rihanna released a new generation of Puma Creepers, which is the singer and fashion plate's third drop so far. This drop includes an all-white leather pair, an all-black suede pair, and a maroon and green pair with that instantly recognizable oatmeal gumsole. The $140 shoes went on sale at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, May 26, and were made available at the Puma site. The shoes moved quickly, as expected, firmly establishing the Rihanna x Puma Creeper as the sneaker of the summer of 2016 and perhaps beyond. The shoes sold out because of course they did and restocks are not planned, due to the limited edition status of these Creepers.
Puma PR reps told Bustle in an email that the shoe is "a limited release, like other Creeper drops before it." The reps also told us that "restocks are not planned. Should it happen, press and consumers will be informed." It's also worth nothing that Nordstrom tweeted that their Puma Creeper stock is coming on May 31, so you'll have another chance to buy them online.
That said, if you managed to scoop up a pair of the snazzy sneakers, there's a super cool way to wear the Rihanna Creepers. I'm not simply talking about pairing them with leather leggings, which I plan to do, either.
