Kylie Jenner & PartyNextDoor Go Way Back

Well, well, well. It has only been a week since news of her breakup with Tyga came out, but Kylie Jenner is already reported to have moved on to another musician. Now, I would take this with many grains of salt, but The Sun reports that Kylie Jenner is dating PARTYNEXTDOOR and that their budding relationship is moving along quite swiftly. According to The Sun, "They are mad for each other. She doesn’t know why she wasted time with Tyga." On May 18, Jenner and PARTYNEXTDOOR were spotted hanging out at TCL Theatre to watch Russell Simmons' All Def Comedy Live. They certainly seem like friends at the very least, so how did Kylie Jenner and PARTYNEXTDOOR meet?

If you're a Drake fan, you may have already heard the name PARTYNEXTDOOR (real name: Jahron Anthony Brathwaite). PND is featured on Drake's newest album, Views, and has been signed Drake's label, OVO Sound, since 2013. The Canadian singer/producer/writer has remained relatively under-the-radar since his signing and has mostly let his music do the talking. He had this to say in his first interview with The Fader in 2015, "I would never call myself mysterious. The word I use is 'private.' I'm not hiding from pictures. When you see me, I'll say whassup." Well, now that he's linked to Jenner, he might not be so private anymore.

It looks like Jenner and PND have known each other for at least two years already, and they may have met through Drake. The "One Dance" rapper seems to have been friends with the Kardashian crew for a few years. In August 2013, a source told E! News that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West arranged for Drake to surprise Jenner and perform at her 16th birthday party.

A family friendship was forged and almost exactly a year later, Jenner popped up with Drake again, this time with PARTYNEXTDOOR in tow. Drake posted a photo of Jenner, which looked like a video still, and it turned out that the video would be for PND's track, "Recognize." Both Jenner and sister Kendall Jenner made cameos in the video, so it must have been for this video that the two first met.

Whether they are just friends who are hanging out more or are dating around, Kylie and PARTYNEXTDOOR have been rolling in the same circles for a few years and sometimes, you just need to have a little fun to get over an ex, right?
