JoJo Fletcher's Selfie Has Fans Asking Questions
We're only a few days away from the premiere of The Bachelorette (woo hoo!), but the haters are already hatin'. Ugh. Fans think JoJo Fletcher got a face transplant, thanks to a glam new beauty look, but that is the furthest thing from the truth (and maybe the most ridiculous thing I've heard, like ever).
Fletcher made her return to social media this week, right ahead of the premiere of her season of The Bachelorette, and when you've been away from your life while you're filming for several months, there are definitely things you have to catch up — like beauty, for example. The Dallas native posted a selfie to Instagram on Wednesday, showing off her freshly done hair (which is considerably lighter, though not full-on blonde, as some were speculating, and also freshly cut), but some Internet trolls were none too impressed with the shot.
Fletcher, who is considerably made up and posing with a pouty face, had so much backlash from commenters questioning "is that jojo? WTF" and claiming "it doesn't even look like her," that she had to go back and edit her post to say: "EDIT: Appreciate the love and so excited for you to see the new season unfold BUT sorry to disappoint it will be the same old face just without a filter #noihaventhadafacetransplant."
First thing's first — she looks gorgeous. But second, I mean, come on. How ridiculous is that? We all know how Instagram filters can change the tone of our skin or the color of our hair, and to be fair, her hair is lighter, so that would cause her to look a bit different than when she was a darker brunette:
But the other thing is that she is wearing a considerable amount of makeup, and though she is stunning without it, makeup does alter the way you look. But if you scroll through her Instagram and check out some of her other selfies, it's clear and obvious she looks the same. She just has lighter hair and heavier eye makeup.

If she were pouting in this one, she'd look the exact same.
She's doing the pout here, but just has less eye makeup and darker hair. So see, guys? Jojo did not have a face transplant — she just has a glammed up beauty look. (And chose a pretty fab Instagram filter). Keep snapping those selfies, girl!
