The One App Every Intrepid Snapchat User Needs

With new updates, filters, and constant changes in their features, Snapchat is always giving me something new. Since their innovations confuse me most of the time, having the GhostCodes app for finding Snapchat users is pretty much the best. No more struggling to figure out how to add people on Snapchat, searching for hours on the internet for celebrity screen-names, and aimlessly refreshing people's stories. With this new app, you can save a ton of time and get great people to follow in one fell swoop.

So how does this magical app work? Basically, instead of searching the internet for people to follow and relying on your friend's stories, GhostCodes allows you to browse thousands of people's profiles based on your interests. If you want to see celebrities there is an entire feed for that. How about food? It's there. Entertainment? The app has got you covered. You just have to download it, fill out a couple of questions and then let it rip! You create your very own profile that people can find through key phrases and then provide an option for people to follow you. This way not only are you finding content you like, you can also increase your web presence.

I've been playing with the app for a few hours and it's been really great finding new people to follow. Before the only people I followed were people I knew from real life — now I have tons of entertaining stories to check out. If you are bored with your Snapchat feed, here is a step by step guide on how to get and use the GhostCodes app.

1. Download The App

The app is very easy to locate because of it's cute-as-a-ghostly-skeleton-button logo design. I've always wondered what was beneath that yellow/white ghost curtain and turns out a little creature. Fun Fact: when you put the Snapchat app next to the GhostCodes app, it looks like the Laker's jersey.

2. Create A Profile

Using your unique Snapchat Snapcode, you create your own profile. You will be asked to create a password, what your gender is, and all other standard meta-data collecting questions about age and location.

You are even shown step by step how to use your own Snapcode in the app. After you finish this step you will be given a profile.

3. Spice It Up

The goal is to find content that you would want to look at. So be very specific with your interests. I went ham adding five interests right off the top. You can always add more later.

4. Browse The Interweb

You can check out the different categories on channels. With so many to choose from you will be entertained for hours.

If you click on one topic it will take you to a screen of people who fit that description and even show you their popularity online.

5. Follow And Enjoy

If you finally narrow things down to one person, you can click and look at their person profiles. You can read their bio and then click the little Snapchat logo that will allow you to add them in your app.
