The Manny MUA x OFRA Cosmetics liquid lipsticks, which come in three neutral shades in a mega matte texture, began their lives as limited edition offerings from the popular vlogger and the brand. The shades sold out on the quick and there were a few restocks. But I was wondering if the Manny MUA x OFRA liquid lipsticks were limited edition. A few weeks ago, Bustle inquired about a restock date and whether or not the Manny MUA liquid lippies would be upgraded to a permanent addition, given the intense and passionate customer and "Mannyiac" response. At the time, the team told us in an email, "Due to the overwhelming demand and social engagement in the product, Manny and OFRA want everyone to get a chance to have these shades and are now talking about bringing back more stock. But there is nothing official yet."
At the time, it sounded like the brand was mulling a status change. What's the latest scoop?
Get ready to celebrate, liquid lipstick lovers! The trio — Aries, Charmed, and Hypno — are no longer limited edition. Yaaas! The lipsticks have been permanently added to OFRA's offerings. The brand confirmed this news via an Instagram post in which it also revealed the time and date of the next restock.
There you have it in black and white. The brand responded to fan demand for these shades. The restock is set for Sunday, May 15 at 1 p.m. ET. So go ahead and program a reminder in your iPhone calendar. It's almost too much good news in one post, right?
