No, there isn't going to be another Vanderpump Rules engagement anytime soon, but that doesn't mean Kristen Doute isn't preparing for a future proposal from her boyfriend, Brian Carter. During a chat with E! News, Kristen Doute revealed she wears a fake engagement ring. Yeah, that sounds about right.
While discussing her relationship, which she says is going great, her friends and fellow Pump Rules cast members, including Stassi Schroeder, Scheana Marie, and Katie Maloney, let it be known that if you see Kristen sporting a diamond, it doesn't mean she's engaged.
"Kristen wears a fake engagement ring!" her co-stars said. "She's practicing." Kristen also declared that she bought the ring for herself. During the interview, she was even wearing it, which she showed off proudly. "It looks good," she said. "I just wanted to see — what if I don't like this cut?" Katie joked that she's surprised Brian hasn't run for the hills yet, but I guess he's just that serious about Kristen.
In April, some Twitter users expressed confusion over whether or not Kristen was engaged. Based on several tweets, it appears that she shared a cryptic tweet or a photo of herself wearing a ring (which I assume was her fake engagement ring) and then many started wondering if Brian had proposed. Well, now they have an answer.
The 33-year-old reality star said that "one day" she'd like to get married to her boyfriend, but right now that's not in the cards. Though, things between the two have gotten serious. Not only are they living together, but they also have a dog. "Everything's great," Kristen said. "I have zero complaints. He's fantastic."
I mean, why wouldn't things be amazing? She's happy, she's in love, and she even invested in a sparkly diamond to confuse everyone.
