One of the reasons that I love watching Real Housewives shows is because the women are so wealthy. Sure, they have a lot of the same problems that you and I do, but they also have to choose which vacation home to summer at, so they are not always the most relatable people. Nevertheless, I enjoy watching this all play out on my television screen. Not only that, but I wonder how these women are so rich. What do they do? For example, Real Housewives of New York City star Dorinda Medley — how much is Dorinda worth? Sure, she is a famous reality star ever since she signed on to be a part of RHONY, but how did she get to that point? As far as I can tell, being on the show is the only "job" that she has these days.

If I didn't see Dorinda's amazing wardrobe or her Berkshires mansion, I wouldn't have really known that Dorinda was super wealthy — well, aside from being on a reality show about rich women. Sadly, Dorinda's husband passed away in 2011. I hate to be crass and say this, but since we are talking about her net worth, he was a hedge fund advisor, so I have to assume that Dorinda inherited some money after his death.

Of course, we can't forget that Dorinda is now a reality TV star. This means that she gets paid for being on the show, earns money for promotional appearances, and can even rake in cash with some shameless Instagram endorsements. Being a part of RHONY has given her a lot of opportunities to make her net worth even bigger.
