Zoe Kravitz is YSL Beauty's New Muse

Another brand has picked its celebrity inspiration, and I couldn't think of a better pairing. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Zoe Kravitz is YSL Beauty's new muse for the United States. Not surprised, right? It was only time that the gorgeous woman would become the face of an iconic brand. Kravtiz will be doling out her favorite makeup looks and tricks, and I couldn't be more thrilled.

If you're not familiar with the It girl, Kravitz is an indie actor and musician (not to mention Lenny Kravitz's daughter) who 100 percent rocked an Yves Saint Laurent makeup look at the 2016 Met Gala. Kravitz is known for her edgy, chic style, so paring up with YSL Beauty as its U.S. muse makes perfect sense.

YSL Beauty and Kravitz will team up for a social media campaign across both the brand's platforms and Kravitz's. The exclusive content will feature Kravitz's favorite makeup looks and tips.

"YSL has always been one of my favorite brands. Their ability to combine the chicest of style with a raw edge has always been to me one of the best ways to express yourself through fashion and beauty. Nothing is forced, nothing is fake, but everything is bold, strong, and unafraid," said Kravitz in an official statement, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Kravitz will also appear in an YSL beauty video called "Before the Light." Filming in Los Angeles on May 5, the video will showcase the transformative power of makeup for music artists.

"As a YSL Beauty muse, Zoe represents the brand’s vision of beauty, appealing to women of all ethnicities to become empowered through style and beauty," said Alexandre Choueiri, president of L’Oreal International Designer Collections Division.
