Caitlyn's Taking A Huge Step In Her Career
Almost a year after her first cover, Caitlyn Jenner is going to be gracing the front of another magazine, but this one is definitely taking things to a whole new level. Caitlyn Jenner is posing nude for Sports Illustrated , according to Us Weekly. Talk about a big way to cap off a seriously transformative and inspirational year.
The Olympian has covered three magazines in the past year, but her fourth is sure to be her most groundbreaking yet. Jenner will be on the cover of Sports Illustrated's summer issue, and she will be posing au naturel, wearing only her Olympic medal and an American flag. I mean, 'Merica!
It's the 40th anniversary of the 66-year-old's world record decathlon win, so the cover is meant to celebrate that. And this is also a huge event, because it will be the first time Jenner has posed with the medal since her transition. Jenner posing on Sports Illustrated was going to be good on its own, but adding in the commemoration of her Olympic win is just, like, all the feels. After spending the last year focusing on her transition, it'll be great to see her reconnect with such a proud and pivotal part of her life.
And you know she can work a cover.
Jenner's Vanity Fair cover is iconic, and will definitely go down on their list of best covers of all time.
She also stunned in a more covered-up shoot for People.
The Advocate featured a close up, glam shot of Jenner, and the quote might be the best part.
I can't wait to see her Sports Illustrated cover when it drops this summer.
