Dorinda's BF Runs A High Fashion Business
If you want to play a drinking game with one rule while you watch Real Housewives of New York City, just take a sip every time Dorinda Medley's boyfriend John Mahdessian mentions something about his dry cleaning business. To be honest with you, I love the hustle and it's working out for him, I'm sure. I know that I'm pretty curious about where John Mahdessian's dry cleaning business is, annd I'm sure I'm not the only one. Yes, I am aware that John is a pretty polarizing dude among the RHONY cast members and the viewers, but if a person mentions his business that much, I cannot help wondering about it. (I also just want to know why a dude named John owns a dry cleaning company called Madame Paulette, but I can't figure that one out.)
As expected, Madame Paulette is located in New York City. That makes perfect sense since he makes regular appearances with his girlfriend on a show with the words "New York City" in the title. If you want to stop in and see the most talked about RHONY boyfriend, just head to the business's location at 1255 Second Avenue in Manhattan
After creeping the website, I have to admit that I get why John hypes this place up all the time. It definitely does not seem like a standard dry cleaning business. There is a certain elegance about it and a lot of specialty services to clean couture, vintage, and designer apparel, as well as wedding dresses, leather, and fur. The business also offers restoration, fine hand laundering, European tailoring, and interior cleaning, so this is the place to go if you have some high fashion needs. I'm surprised that John isn't more of a fashionisto considering the detail that goes into his line of work.
I wonder if John's appearances on RHONY have helped increase revenue. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little bit curious to try the shop myself — not that I have any couture that needs to be laundered.
