How To Make Your Fitness Tracker More Stylish

by Sienna Fantozzi

Fitness tracking devices are all the rage right now — and for good reason. They're so great for your health, and can really up the quality of your workouts, making serious strides in your overall fitness and health. But if you've been hesitant to jump on that bandwagon because you think they might look kind of dorky, don't worry. There are plenty of ways to make your fitness tracker more stylish and blend in a little better with your outfits. Trust.

Let's be real — walking around with a band on your wrist that's counting your steps taken and calories burned isn't exactly making any style statements, but it doesn't have to be a fashion no-no either. You can totally have your workout and your cute outfit, too, you just have to be creative and consider a few ways to make the device look more like an accessory than, like, a medical device or something. And it definitely can be done.

Fitbit recently launched the Fitbit Blaze and it's exactly what fashion girls and guys everywhere have been waiting for. The Blaze features a slim design, interchangeable bands and frames, and a sleek, color touchscreen that feature different clock faces. It doesn't get more fashionable than this smart watch — trust.

If you're still stumped on how to make your fitness tracker way more stylish, here are a few ways that'll convince you to wear it more often (or buy one if you don't already have one!)

1. Choose A Device That Matches Your Style

There are plenty of different brands out there, so don't just buy the first one you see. Check out all the different options, and make sure you choose one that matches your personal style. Are you more edgy? Girlie? Classic? Professional? Choose one that matches your style and then you won't have as much of a problem blending it with your outfits.

2. Buy More Bands

Black can be boring and basic, but it's tough to match bold colors to every single outfit in your closet. Buy more bands so that you can switch up your device depending on what you're wearing and make it look a little less "blah."

3. Buy Versatile

Think you can only wear your fitness tracking around your wrist? Think again. There are options out there that allow you to wear your tracker as a bracelet or a necklace, so you can switch it up if you don't feel like having something around your wrist.

4. Embellish It

I'm not saying you have to bust out the Bedazzler, but customize your band according to your personal style. Add crystals or studs to make it feel more like jewelry.

5. Go Designer

If you want style, buy a device designed by a major designer. Tory Burch collaborated with Fitbit, so you know the collection is the perfect amalgamation of fashion and tech.
