Kylie Jenner Got Real About Her Met Gala Dress

You might have assumed that it was all smiles at the Met Gala, but think again. Proving that even celebrities have to deal with a few "beauty is pain" moments from time to time, Kylie Jenner's Met Gala dress made her bleed, according to her Snapchat post from the event. I guess not everything goes smoothly on the red carpet each and every time, eh?

The social media star looked absolutely gorgeous for her first ever Met Gala, so I never would have realized that she was in pain the whole time. Jenner shared her battle wounds, or should i say fashion wounds, with her followers last night on her Snapchat. With swollen feet and scratches all down her leg, she captioned the photo, "when ur dress made you bleed and ur feet are purple." Ouch!

There's no denying that Jenner looked absolutely gorgeous on the red carpet in the Balmain gown. It's no secret that she's a fan of the designer (she even Snapchatted a kiss from Olivier Rousteing), so if there was one outfit that she'd suffer for, you'd better believe it would be Balmain. Non worries though, she followed up the with another Snapchat saying that it was totally worth the pain.

The intricate silver Balmain gown for the event, looked absolutely gorgeous on the star. While I would never suggest suffering in the name of beauty, this was one fabulous outfit. It also fit with the technology meets fashion theme pretty perfectly.

After looking closely at the design, you can tell how it might have been a little tricky to walk in. The dress was open in the back and had fringe at the bottom that formed a mermaid-esque silhouette, which could have been what was scratching her as she tried to walk.

This isn't the first time that Jenner has suffered in the name of looking great either. She's worn her fair share of crazy outfits and not all of them have been the most comfortable. Here are a few times she got real about her fashionista struggles.

1. Being Stuck In Her Cartier Bracelet

The Lip Kit creator revealed on Snapchat a while back that she was stuck in her $5,000 bracelet. Videos showed a security guard trying to pry it off her wrist. Luckily, it came off in the end.

2. Long Nail Problems

Jenner shared that she was done with long nails once and for all because she was fed up with having to scoop her moisturizer out of the jar with the back of her nail. That's something that all long-nailed people can attest to.

3. Wearing Wigs

Although Jenner has never came out and said that her wigs are a bother to her, her big sister revealed that they're actually pretty uncomfortable to wear, according to The Outfit. Something tells me that won't stop Jenner from continuing to rock them though.

4. Glamour Awards Fashion Mishap

Although she didn't say exactly what problems she had when it came to her outfit, she posted on Instagram that she "had some major wardrobe malfunctions" the night of the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. That didn't stop her from showing up in support of Caitlyn Jenner, however.
