It comes as a surprise to almost no one that Kylie Jenner at the 2016 Met Gala happened this year. It's Kylie Jenner after all. There's Kyle Lip Kits. There's "Glosses." There's the empire that is the Kardashian-Jenner family. You better believe she was going to snag a spot on the carpet just like her sisters Kendall and Kim and brother-in-law Kanye West. And all her friends. And acquaintances. And basically every human she's interacted with maybe ever. Duh. And, of course, her hair looked fabulous along with her gown. While it wasn't dyed a crazy color or in a particularly unique style, it was simple and chic — and notably, short. This makes sense given her sparkly dress is sort of the showstopper in this situation. And in any situation. It's that intense. There's no hairdo or makeup situation that could outshine the dress, so why try? Say what you will about Jenner's style, she knows exactly how to balance a look with hair and makeup.
The dress is almost definitely Balmain, given that the Kardashians and Jenners are royal followers of the brand. And it is all kinds of fabulous, from head to toe. Jenner's best look ever? Maybe. Just maybe. Certainly the sparkliest. And that has to count for something, right?
