Kim K's Met Gala Gown Is Going To Be Elaborate

We're only a few hours away from the 2016 Met Gala, so naturally, imaginations are running wild with what celebrities are going to be wearing. And based off her latest Instagram, I think it's safe to say that Kim Kardashian's 2016 Met Gala dress is going to be seriously elaborate — and also possibly different from what we've seen from her in the past.

There's no denying that the Met Gala brings some of the most show-stopping fashion moments, and Kim Kardashian is always pretty statement-making on her own, so put the two together and you can expect basically greatness. And if you want to read anything into her latest Instagram post, then she's definitely not letting us down this year, because she was prepping for the Met Gala at midnight.

Kim posted a photo to Instagram on Sunday night, showing off her "midnight Met prep," and though we can't see her dress, we can tell that there is a whole lot going on here. The photo was taken in a mirror above Kim, and shows a team of people working around her dress, as well as handling what appears to be some pretty sparkly shoes. Oh, so glam.

But what's really interesting is that, at least from this photo, it appears like the gown is going to be form-fitting, without any crazy long trains or anything.

Kim is usually all about the high drama on the red carpet, so a fitted gown without a train would be a little different for her. I mean, remember last year?

So clearly, Kim loves herself a train, but maybe she wants to switch it up this year and give us something entirely new. Either way, I'm stoked to see what she wears.
