Solange Knowles Fans It Again At The Met Gala

The youngest of the Knowles clan is a consistently daring fashionista and uses every opportunity she has in the spotlight to create a bold vibe. That's why it's no surprise Solange Knowles' 2016 Met Gala dress is just as stunning and fierce as she's always been. Coming off the 2014 elevator incident that continues to be a pop culture mystery and a seriously fashion-forward and quirky 2015 Met Gala look, Knowles opted for an outfit that would keep people talking this year, too!

First, a quick re-cap on Solange's 2015 look is totally necessary so you can understand how it relates to 2016. Last year, the star opted for an incredible and futuristic Giles dress. Given the theme was China: Through the Looking Glass, some speculate the gown was meant to channel elaborate Chinese fans. However, Bustle's Melanie Richtman had a different take and deemed it a slightly humorous seashell-inspired dress. We will never know! And, funny enough, Solange's 2016 look is equally quirky.

This time around, Solange is rocking another fan dress, but this time in shades of pastel to borderline neon yellow by David LaPort. She shared a gorgeous pic of her look on Instagram, completely the style with yellow thigh highs, a structured curly bob, and elegant nude tone makeup.
