Gigi Hadid Went Dark & Sleek For The Met Gala

Gigi Hadid is, hands down, one my favorite supermodels. She knows how to balance edgy with glam, and Gigi Hadid at the 2016 Met Gala was hardcore swoon-worthy. Any traces of a 21st birthday hangover are totally gone, and the sweet model looks bright, happy, and undoubtedly fierce!

Despite being so young, this isn't Hadid's first time to walk the Met Gala red carpet. Last year, she rocked a gorgeous firecracker red floor-length Diane von Furstenberg gown. It had a stunner thigh high slit, and the top was embellished with beautiful floral appliqués. Hadid added a matching pair of strappy sandals and subtle diamond earrings to complete the look, which created an old Hollywood glam feel. This year, however, was decidedly different.

First and foremost, Gigi Hadid is coming with some hot new company this year: her boyfriend Zayn Malik. The duo was spotted holding hands while heading to the red carpet in sci fi-inspired fashion. Gigi went the chic route, with a metallic halter dress with the slightest touch of navy, whereas Malik decided to go all out robot with metal sleeves over his tux.

I can't decide if Malik's outfit is giving me the giggles or not, but you can't deny that the couple looks pretty cute!
