SJP's Met Gala Look Is Surprisingly Paired Down
Hold on to your headpieces, fashionistas, because the Met Gala Queen is back at it with yet another stunning look. Proving that she hasn't lost her fashion touch one bit, Sarah Jessica Parker wore pants to the Met Gala. That's right, she traded in her voluminous skirts and bold headpieces for something a little bit more simple, yet definitely not boring. You didn't think that she was all out of surprises, did you?
Known for her over-the-top accessories that are always stunning, the Sex And The City star rocked a different Met Gala style then in the past for this year's event. Parker has a knack for taking simple dresses and making them exciting, and now she's done the same for the cream colored pantsuit. This wasn't your average pants and a jacket set though. The outfit gets a boost from the ruffled sleeves and cropped, voluminous pants that you have to see to truly appreciate.
Parker's styling was out of this world as well. Whether she's rocking a mohawk headpiece or putting her hair into intricate up 'dos, she always knows just how far to push the fashion envelope. This time she kept it all about her natural locks though, with a messy, tousled hair.
Those pants though! There a little bit pirate-esque, I will admit, but I absolutely love the fit.
Not really sure how this fits the tech-y theme, but you can't deny her accessories are on-point.
Although she didn't wear a headpiece like she normally does, I'm kind of digging the casual look.
She strolled in with Andy Cohen on her arm.
She even took her shoes out for a stroll to break them in before the big night. I absolutely love that she wore shoes from her own collection.
