On Saturday night, the Washington Hilton in Washington D.C. was filled with the biggest names in politics, press, and Hollywood including President Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders, Keegan-Michael Key, and Carrie Fisher and her dog for the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Her pup, Gary, totally stole the show from the second he hit the red carpet. Together, the Fisher duo strutted their stuff along with actor Tom Hiddleston on D.C.'s biggest night. And, naturally, Twitter couldn't get enough of little ol' Gary.
Fisher herself is a legendary actress, but Gary is a star on the rise appearing next to his famous mom. According to US Weekly, Gary Fisher is a French bulldog who has even helped Fisher promote Star Wars: The Force Awakens in interviews last year. He also has his own Instagram account @garyfisher, which chronicles his Hollywood exploits and has amassed more than 9,000 followers. His recent adventures have included appearing on stage at the Tribeca Film Festival, visiting Harvard University, and now, attending the White House Correspondents' Dinner, the hottest ticket in town. This pooch gets around — and he does so in style.
