Ilana Glazer's 2016 Correspondents' Dinner Outfit

On Broad City, Ilana Glazer's character (also named Ilana) wears crop tops, mini skirts, and basically anything that's not appropriate for any situation she's in — actually, she wears the hell out of it. But what did the real Ilana choose for the 2016 White House Correspondent's Dinner?

While her guileless, bold, and revealing look on the show might be iconic to the hipsters and millennials who worship her, IRL Ilana knows how to clean up nicely – but never fear, she still stuck to some of character Ilana's classic sartorial instincts. For this year's WHCD, she wore a rust-colored spaghetti strap gown with a choker that matched. In other words, she looked like a fierce queen that would make her namesake character proud.

One thing that stood out about Glazer's look is that it was a bit more minimal than some of the other WHCD attendees. Still, she looked totally in sync with her BFF and co-star Abbi Jacobson, who rocked a simple black gown and looked incredibly chic. Glazer's bare decolletage was a little bit less demure, but the look was so quintessentially Ilana that you have to wonder if the character and the real-life actor don't have similar fashion sensibilities.
