ColourPop Cosmetics Matte X Lippies Drop Very Soon

If you're a fan of this indie makeup brand, you may already be wondering when will the Matte X Lippies by ColourPop Cosmetics come out? You're in luck, because the answer is... very, very soon. Because your favorite web-based affordable brand is making matte Lippies even more matte with a new formula that promises to be long-lasting, velvety, and intensely pigmented. This is exciting news for fans of the matte lip craze that is taking over the makeup scene.

But how soon is very, very soon? You can count the days on one hand! That's right, ColourPop's Matte X Lippie Stix are dropping Thursday, April 28. There's no exact time of the release just yet, so I recommend keeping your computer close by on that day if you want to cop yourself some gorgeous lip colors. As if ColourPop didn't already have one of the best matte lipstick selections in town, the brand is certainly out-doing itself with this new product.

Based on what we know about the new products from fan Instagram account @ColourPopCult, the Matte X Lippie Stix melt onto the lips with a smooth and velvety finish. They appear to have intense color payoff and pigmentation but the brand also claims they won't crack on lips, since the formula contains a special powder ingredient that keeps the color looking fresh and vibrant. Plus, it's the matte-est formula the brand has ever created.

The Matte X Lippie Stix will release with 15 shades to start.

How stunning is that bright pink, "Tickler?" And the navy blue "Climax" shade is unlike one I've ever seen before.

Plus, they'll keep you on top of your matte lip A-game.
