Rihanna's Fur Slides Are Going For Insane Prices

ICYMI, last week brought the release of Rihanna's fur slides from her Fenty x Puma collection, and people went crazy for them. In fact, they were so popular they actually crashed the Puma website, much to the chagrin of fans who were dying to get a pair of the faux fur slides. Of course, the slides quickly sold out, leaving a bunch of disappointed fans who weren't able to get a pair during the first round of sales. Of course, as is typical of almost every celebrity-released product today (Kylie Jenner Lip Kits and Yeezy Boosts, I'm looking at you), people quickly jumped on eBay to sell the fur slides at ridiculously unmarked prices. Considering they're going for up to $1,000, should you buy Rihanna's fur slides on eBay?

Yep, that's not a typo. Rihanna's Puma fur slides are actually going for the eye-popping sum of $1,000 on eBay. Of course, some of the resales are a little more reasonable, but they're still way above the original price of $80 for the slides. If you have that kind of cash to spare and are absolutely dying to have a pair of the slides before summer, I'd hop over to eBay (although be warned, the people who sold them to you probably don't even have the shoes yet).

This listing on eBay has the black slides in a size 6.5 going for a whopping $1,000, and another seller is offering all three colors (black, white and pink) in a size 5.5 for $999.

Unless you're willing to spend that kind of money, you're probably in luck. Considering Rihanna's other shoes, the Creepers and Trainers, also sold out equally quickly, Puma is probably working on a restock of all three shoes. In fact, the Fenty by Rihanna page says new colors of the Creepers are "Coming Soon." So, it looks like you could see a restock of fur slides too.
