On Thursday, the world lost a music legend when Prince died at age 57. His publicist confirmed the news to Bustle with the following statement: "It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57." The Carver County Sheriff's Office told Bustle that Prince was found unresponsive in an elevator. Although the news is hard to stomach, looking back at the highlights of his career is one way to keep his legacy alive. There even are a few comical moments, like the time he kicked Kim Kardashian off the stage at Madison Square Garden. No, seriously! That totally happened.
According to the Daily Mail, this all went down in 2011. As a part of the show, he invites people from the audience to dance on stage. Unfortunately, when the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star got up there, she just couldn't dance. In response, the "Purple Rain" singer told Kardashian to get off the stage. Yikes! She tweeted about her embarrassment, saying she just froze when being in the spotlight. Since when is Kim K shy? Honestly, I'm shocked. But don't worry, she got to redeem herself and retake the stage.
