She Lets Us In On a Romantic Secret About Bradley

Bradley Cooper and Suki Waterhouse have been dating for almost a year, but are always very hush-hush about their relationship. The really, really, really good-looking couple had been together for about nine months when they made their first red carpet appearance together on Dec. 8 at the American Hustle premiere in NYC. And since Waterhouse is a model — and 17 years younger than Cooper at the age of 22 — Cooper's fans always want to know more about his leading lady. In this month's issue of Rollacoaster , a U.K. fashion magazine, Waterhouse finally opened up about how she and Cooper met.

I met him at the Elle Style awards in London last year, Waterhouse says. We were introduced and hit it off almost immediately. We were dancing at the after-party, and he asked me if I fancied going to a club. We went to Cirque Le Soir in London — and he’s a ridiculously good dancer, yes. But I’m a serious dancer too, so I don’t know if I was fully concentrating on that. We make a pretty good duo, though.

When someone less-than-desirable asks you to go dancing at a gross club, your first instinct is probably the stank face and a big old "no." But when Bradley Cooper, who does't have two left feet, asks you to go dancing at a sumptuous and romantic club in London, it's obviously a win-win-win-win-win-win-win-times-a-million situation.

The British Burberry model was also asked about why she never really shares anything about her relationship with the press.

Yes, I never get asked about it, because they all think I’m not going to answer them, Waterhouse says. I blame the guy that coughed in my face, frankly.

Aha! What a good little tidbit for reporters. Just don't cough in Suki's face, and we can possibly get more cute stories from her.
