Kanye West & Chrissy Teigen Swap Twitter Tips

by Mallory Carra

On the finale of Kocktails With Khloe, the titular host Khloe Kardashian brought together two of the internet's most prolific tweeters: Kanye West and Chrissy Teigen. So naturally, the conversation turned to Twitter among Khloe, Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian, and Teigen's husband John Legend. Kanye West and Chrissy Teigen discussed their Twitter styles on Kocktails With Khloe and they're very much opposite each other when it comes to their 140-character philosophies. "I just catch a beam, some type of wave or thought comes over me and I got to to express this," West explains to the group on the show. "It's like a fresh rap."

As for Teigen, she says she wished she could be as open and honest as Kanye's infamous rants. "I used to be a lot more Kanye-y with my tweets, but now I can't handle it," she says. "I still think these things, but I don't want to put it out there." Teigen confessed to reading all of her @-mentions, while Kanye shrugged and said he doesn't read them at all. The episode was pre-taped before Teigen and Legend had their daughter Luna last week, so there's no talk of the newborn, but it showed the five stars bonding over Teigen and Legend's Frito pies, Twitter, and pregnancy cravings. ("When I was told I couldn't have deli meat, I really wanted deli meat," Teigen says.)

To close out the episode, Khloe led the two couples in a game of "Who Tweeted It: Chrissy or Kanye?" and let's just say Kim and Legend definitely both know their spouses' Twitter language. In fact, Teigen confessed that she actually authored one of Legend's most popular tweets, which referenced the infamous Red Lobster lyric Beyonce's "Formation." "People were like, 'This sounds a lot like Chrissy,'" Teigen says.

Kim, however, wanted people to know that her recent rants were all hers and not written by Kanye. "I wrote them in lower case, Kanye-style," Kim says.
