Yolanda Hints At Why She Got Divorced On 'RHOBH'

It's that time of year again, when the ladies of Beverly Hills don their most glittery evening-wear to sit across from each other and rehash every nugget of drama from their season. Yes, it's The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills reunion time. Since reunions always bring forth the most tenuous moments from the show, of course the first major thing discussed was Yolanda's recent divorce from her husband, David Foster. Surprisingly, Andy Cohen was able to coax some pretty serious details out of her about the split. Namely, that Yolanda somewhat blames her illness for her divorce.

Andy did what he does best and salted Yolanda's wounds right up front by showing her loving moments between her and David from the season. Once she was properly prepped for emotional dissection, she got to hear multiple times from all of the ladies, how shocked that everyone was. If one more person said that they really thought she had a great marriage, I was going to jump through the television and give Yolanda earmuffs myself. I love Lisa Vanderpump more than most people love their children (possibly a slight exaggeration) and even I was uncomfortable with her intense prying.

Yolanda was the one to first allude to the fact that her illness played a major role in her divorce. She actually seemed to be strongly defending David, which is very noble, but I'm not sure it's deserved. Yolanda, like all of us, deserves to have a true partner to lean on. I am so glad that she has a friend like Erika Jayne, who continued to stick by her pal during the reunion. She even declined to answer Andy's question, out of respect for his friend, about whether Yolanda spoke to her about her marriage.

A big bombshell was dropped when Andy straight up asked Yolanda if she thought that she and David would still be together if it wasn't for her illness. Yolanda hardly hesitated before answering that she did in fact think that they would still be together if she were healthy. I don't know about you, but this makes me sad to my core. To think that Yolanda is going through this, seemingly because of something she can't control, is pretty heartbreaking.

Andy's final question for Yolanda about the divorce was whether she would ever get married again. Yolanda said that she doesn't think she would. Right now she seems to be focused on spending time with her daughters and seeing them walk the runway at Fashion Week.

Even after all of these shocking revelations, Yolanda vehemently defended David. She stated numerous times that he's a good man, and that he is her best friend. Although she said that at the moment they're taking time away from speaking to each other, I hope for her sake that they can find a happy medium in the future.
