The 'Pump Rules' Coachella Tradition Continues

Much like candy colored hair and Kylie Jenner's Instagram account, the humans who make up the Vanderpump Rules cast and Coachella just feel right together. For the past few years, the Sexy Unique Restaurant staff has attended the annual music festival, and for the past few years, I've inhaled all of the Pump Rules Coachella photos. You better believe I stuck to my Coachella tradition this weekend: Sunday evening, I poured myself a glass of a tall glass of water (staying hydrated is a crucial part of the fest) and scrolled through the Pumpers' social media accounts.

What did I find, you ask? Much to my SURprise, the Vanderchella showing was relatively small (albeit still mighty) this year. The Coachella weekend one Pump Rules contingent was composed of Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Lala Kent, and James Kennedy; Fellow Pumpers/festival veterans Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute, Scheana Shay, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, and Stassi Schroeder opted to sit the weekend out.

Where were the other Pumpers? I wondered. Isn't going to Coachella the cast's thing? Don't they love tromping across the dirt parking lots and perfectly mowed lawns of the Empire Polo Club as a unit? Is the cast really as divided as the Pump Rules Season 4 reunion would lead us to believe? What happened to Vanderchella Rules? Where was everyone?!?!?

Here is what the Internet told me: One Pumper spent the weekend in Sin City, two drank in the natural beauty of the Aloha State, and another opted to stay in Los Angeles. Now, before I dive into the non-Coachella posts, I would like to doff my proverbial flower crown to the SURvers who did their part in carrying on the tradition of Vanderchella Rules:
