Charrisse Speaks UP At The 'RHOP' Reunion

by Kayla Hawkins

It was no secret that Real Housewives of Potomac star Charrisse Jackson-Jordan was suffering some marriage issues, and even told the rest of the women that she was pursuing a divorce. And she had the last word on the reunion, dramatically interjecting just before the episode came to an end that Eddie is no longer speaking to Charrisse. So, Charrisse and her husband are not together, but, according to her at the reunion, they're not getting divorced, either. That may sound like a paradox, but Charrisse was very firm about the situation. Andy Cohen asked if Eddie's recent job change means that the former Rutgers University basketball coach would return to Potomac to live with his family.

To Andy's line of questioning, Charrisse adopted the refrain "It's not a discussion." It's not a discussion about Eddie moving back, it's not a discussion about how their marriage is, and even though things are frosty, maybe even irreversibly so, between the couple, Charrisse absolutely will not be filing for divorce. Charrisse also said that she's disappointed about her friendship with Gizelle, Robyn, and Karen being hurt by the drama around filming the show. Instead, she says that she's only been able to open up to Katie instead. And she needed that support when the show was being filmed, because Eddie refused to appear. He didn't even appear at her birthday party.

Even though Charrisse waited until the last possible second to drop her Eddie bombshell, her slightly erratic behavior throughout the reunion makes so much more sense considering that she was hiding this secret. Her squabbling with Karen over the definition of "narcissist" seemed extremely strange, but she must be feeling some major abandonment issues if she lost a friendship at the same time that she lost her husband, so it makes sense that she threw in that dig about so-called "narcissists" trying to drag other people down.

In her final Bravo blog, Charrisse opened up about the Eddie situation. And on the topic of whether or not she regrets participating in Real Housewives of Potomac, she says, "I don't have any regrets from season. I wasn't in the best emotional space. I was afraid of the end inevitable road ahead. But now, I am at peace to a degree. I know it's probably the quiet before the storm, but I am facing it head on."
