One of the coolest pairs of celebrity parents may have another baby on the way. According to Us Weekly, Blake Lively is pregnant once again. Bustle has reached out to Lively and Ryan Reynolds' reps for comment, but has not yet heard back. If the news is true, this means that their daughter James will be a big sister. How exciting is that? While the news may be a pleasant surprise to fans, these two can totally handle another kid. They're practically parenting pros by now.
On the one hand, Reynolds already mastered the art of dad jokes. His Twitter account includes a plethora of parenting humor that will either make you chuckle or roll your eyes — maybe even both. Plus, they both seem to be taking parenting super seriously. They've gushed over their daughter on talk shows and social media in both serious and silly ways. It's clear that little girl is the center of their universe.
Here's a round-up of all the reasons that Lively and Reynolds are ready for baby #2. Even if this winds up being just a rumor, I have no doubt another child will be here before you know it. If you don't believe me, just keep reading.
1. They Want A Big Family
According to Us Weekly, the Deadpool actor told Details in 2013,
We'd love to have a big family. We both come from big families — my parents did four, Blake's did five. A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know? We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think.
It's true. Have you seen Lively's Instagram? She recently shared a snapshot filled with all of her siblings. She captioned it, "Happy national sibling day. Yes, our parents are breeders."

Aside from this shot of James' thumb, these parents like to keep their daughter's life private. That means they'd probably be equally careful with another child. It's totally respectable that they make an effort to keep her out of the spotlight.
In September 2015, Reynolds told GQ that he cut a friend out of his life, after that former pal tried to sell baby pictures of James. He said,
A guy that I’d known for my whole life, one of my closest friends growing up, he had been shopping pictures of my baby around. I kind of got in front of it, which is good. But it was a slightly dark period. A bad couple of weeks.
After that, he said they had a "strongly worded conversation" and then no longer spoke. This shows how seriously he takes protecting his daughter from unwanted attention.

Look how thrilled her baby cuz looks to be baking with Cousin Blake! Plus, she can pass on valuable life wisdom, like the importance of butter. Any of her future kids will be well-fed.
5. Reynolds Is Helpful In The Delivery Room
In February, Reynolds talked to Seth Meyers about parenting. He admitted he played "Let's Get It On" when Lively gave birth. Her response? The father recalls,
It was like steak knives came out of her eyes. She was like, "Are you f*cking sh*tting me right now?"
Despite his music choices, he said that Lively was a champ during the whole process.
6. He Helps Out With The Dirty Work
As Reynolds told Meyers in the video above,
Just do the dirty work, man. You gotta do the diapers, you gotta do the middle-of-the-night thing. A human being will exit your wife, so she's done enough.
This makes it clear he knows what to do when Baby #2 arrives. He'll help Lively every step of the way.
7. They Have Friendly Parenting Competitions
When appearing on Jimmy Fallon, Lively joked that she and Reynolds have a constant competition to try and get their daughter to say "Dada" or "Mama" first. It's unclear who actually won that race, but these are the kinds of things that keep parenting exciting.
8. Reynolds Is Quite Familiar With Sesame Street
Kids love Sesame Street! In typical Reynolds fashion, the caption is a bit inappropriate. But I highly doubt he'd speak that way around his own children. Maybe his future kids would even get to hang with Elmo.
9. They're Crazy-In-Love
After having their first baby, Reynolds and Lively seem more in love than ever. The proud dad told E! last March, "When that happens you fall so much more in love with your partner. It's a pretty crazy experience." Meanwhile, Lively wrote this last Father's Day:
