A Kylie Jenner Eyebrow Kit Could Be On Its Way
As far as business ventures go, it's safe to say that Kylie Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics has been pretty successful. So, it only makes sense that Jenner would be thinking about the next step for her brand — and she may just be moving from lips to eye brows. With that said, you may be wondering: Will Kylie Jenner release an eyebrow kit as part of Kylie Cosmetics? While nothing has been officially confirmed quite yet, there are multiple signs that point to on fleek brows courtesy of Jenner in the near future.
A blog called KylieLipKit.com reported that Jenner's has registered trademarks for Kyliner, Kyshadow, and Kybrow. The Justia Trademarks website lists Kybrow as registered for "Cosmetics; Eyebrow cosmetics; Eyebrow brushes; Make-up kits comprised of eyebrow cosmetics and eyebrow brushes." This could be major insight into what we can expect from Kylie Cosmetics moving forward, if true.
Representatives for Jenner did not respond to Bustle's request for comment on whether she filed the trademarks and what it means for her brand. But, that's not to say there haven't been hints that a brow kit might be in the works before. With the way Kylie Cosmetics has been going, selling out restocks within minutes each and every time, it only makes sense that expansion is in the future.
Let's break it down. And yes, you have permission to squeal with excitement about the possibility of more Kylie Cosmetics products as you read this article. I won't judge.
Back in March Jenner sent out a poll on her personal Twitter page asking her followers, "What would u wanna see next for Kylie cosmetics?" The options were eyeshadow, bronzer, eyebrow kit, and loose powders.
Her followers replied with a sweeping, majority vote for an eyebrow kit at 47 percent. Since Jenner often shows her appreciation for her fans, I bet she'd take their opinion to heart when planning new products.
Finally, Jenner switched her website URL from lipkitbykylie.com to KylieCosmetics.com last February. Although it's a subtle change, that's another major indicator that she's going to be doing more than just lip products in the future.
And frankly, I don't think anyone is complaining. From a business standpoint, expanding into different categories is the natural next step. Noting the URL change, more products could have been in the works as far back as February. Fingers crossed we don't have to wait if a brow kit really is on the horizon.
So be prepared for your brow game to improve vastly in the near future in case this becomes a reality.
