Complexion perfection is coming! Kat Von D Beauty is updating its Lock-It Complexion range, which is due to arrive this fall. The celeb tattoo artist confirmed that she would be expanding her brand's beloved, full coverage Lock-It foundation with 13 new shades to make it more all-inclusive, including a white hue and darker tones. KVD Beauty is also updating the product's packaging, all the while promising that the formula is staying exactly as is, which is a relief for fans and Kat Von D-evotees who swear by this product. But what is new?
Well, the expanded Lock-It collection is "a complexion revolution" that includes some killer products you will want to include in your daily routine for a gorgeous canvas aka your face.
Von D took to her personal Instagram a few weeks ago to reveal some of the Lock-It updates, noting that the improved canister and new shades would be available in July. That date appears to be pushed back a bit, as the official Kat Von D Beauty Instagram posted an update, including photos of the newly packaged products and the much-anticipated facial brushes. The caption notes that these upgrades and updates are coming in the fall. So you have to wait a bit longer than previously expected.

Observe the goodness. There's the new look foundation, which is getting 13 additions, along with color-correcting eyeshadow primer, 20 shades of concealer, including white; the brushes; the setting mist; loose setting powder; and a blotting powder. The gang is all here.
Essentially, it's a mix of updates to previously existing products, a "sexy" facelift when it comes to the packaging, more shade options, and some new products. Von D is also working on reformatting the formulas so that all Lock-It products totally vegan. Again, the Lock-It Foundation formula is staying the same, so don't freak.
So, yeah, Kat Von D beauty is offering all the flawless face essentials with this range. Fall will be here before you know it. Change is a good thing, especially when it's measured!
