Selena Gomez & Vanessa Hudgens' Face Swap Is Gold

It goes without saying that Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens are both individually beautiful. Yes, on the inside because they're good people and all of that, but they also happen to have stunningly gorgeous faces, as well. (Hollywood, am I right?) So maybe it doesn't come as a total shock that when Gomez and Hudgens face swapped on Snapchat, the former Spring Breakers co-stars still looked beautiful. Gomez posted the Snapchat on her Instagram and inexplicably captioned it "just awful," even though it is kind of anything but. Because for some reason when I freaking face swap with my parents' Beethoven statue I look like some kind of terrifying-ass monster, and when Gomez and Hudgens switch faces, they still look red carpet-ready. Is life ever fair?

In all seriousness, most face swaps probably end up haunting your dreams with the kind of images they produce. Even when you're swappin' mugs with a family member or a close friend, you usually both end up looking like some kind of deranged evil villain (or a demonic baby, which is what usually happens in my case). But for Gomez and Hudgens, they both still look normal. As in, they still look like people.

In fact, the creepiest thing to happen in their face swap is when Gomez puts a hand over her mouth and it winds up on both her face and Hudgens'. It's a weird, ghost-like moment certainly worthy of the LOLs that the actors dissolve into. But still, if that's the strangest thing that has ended up on your face swap, I'll call it a pretty good match.

Of course, there's something to be sad for the fact that they're face swapping with similar features: similar skin tones, eyebrows, dark eyes, red lips. Hudgens even ends up looking slightly like Demi Lovato, which is pretty cool.

In fact, the whole thing reminds me of why the Kim Kardashian/Kylie Jenner face swap was such a crazy success: They already look alike, so it makes sense that swapping faces would result in two pretty girls with blended facial features instead of two hideous monsters. Maybe I just need to find my perfect face swap twin?
