Selena Thanks Fans Following Rehab Stint

After it was revealed last week that she had completed a rehab program, Selena Gomez is now thanking fans for their support. Gomez posted a very cute photo of herself smiling while on a boat to her Instagram account along with a thoughtful comment for her fans. The caption reads, "I've done everything I could to the best of my ability. Thank you for the unconditional love and cyber hugs. You inspire me." Along with this particular photo, Gomez's words sort of make it seem that she's trekking off to live life in nature from now on, but it's probably safe to assume that she'll be back performing in no time.

Gomez unexpectedly cancelled the Australian leg of her Stars Dance tour in December and it was a surprise when a rep for Gomez said that she had completed in a two-week rehab program which started Jan. 5. The rep told People, "Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows, but not for substance abuse."

It is unclear why exactly Gomez was in rehab, but it definitely sounded like she was feeling stressed and overworked at the time she decided to cancel her tour. At that time Gomez released the following statement,

It has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be. To my fans, I sincerely apologize and I hope you guys know how much each and every one of you mean to me.

Judging by her Instagram post, it sounds like Gomez is feeling much more positive now and as for that fan support she's talking about there's a great deal of that apparent too.

t_ray42 commented on the post, "Selena Gomez you are beautiful and a gift. Do not let anyone tell you different."

And deminiiccoole took it a step further saying, "QUEEN OF WATER WINd fire RAIN AIR I LOVE YOU MY QUEEN YOU GIVE ME STRENGTH TO DANCE UNDER THE STARS MY LITTLE DONUT UR GREAT"

Yep, she's got some very supportive fans!
