Meghan Trainor Sparkled Like A Hollywood Siren

Meghan Trainor may have gone through a major hair change recently, but in terms of her style, she's still keeping things simple. Meghan Trainor at the 2016 iHeart Radio Music Awards went with the classic Little Black Dress, but with a fun, playful update: sequins. Arm in arm with the best date ever, her father, the two looked positively sharp.

Trainor has been an inspiration for many curvy women, both with her insanely catchy songs and with her killer fashion sense, too. According to People, Trainor "signed on to be a spokesperson for fullbeauty.com's #OwnYourCurves campaign," with the message, "Be a change-maker. Be a money maker. Be a booty shaker. Be a full beauty." And that's a message I can totally get behind.

I'm a total sucker for her super feminine style and love of prints and bright colors. Trainor is all about the florals, skater skirt dresses, and fun patterns. Tonight, however, she kept it easy with a black sequined dress. Long-sleeved and falling just past her knees, it was a super understated yet sexy ensemble that looked ultra chic.

Trainor paired her dress with black heels featuring an ankle strap, and her new signature darker hair color. To top it all off, she wore a statement ring, black shiny hoop earrings, and a tousled side pony. Talk about effortless.

Trainor is scheduled to perform tonight with Justin Bieber, along with other artists. She's also nominated for "Female Artist Of The Year," and my fingers are definitely crossed for her to take the win.
