On Wednesday, March 23, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice began his 41-month prison sentence for fraud. Well, it looks like Teresa Giudice's husband already has something to look forward to, despite only being in jail for a little over a week. According to Us Weekly, Joe Giudice's prison sentenced has been reduced by five months. The Federal Bureau of Prisons website shows his release date set as March 14, 2019, rather than his original scheduled release of August 2019.
Joe can be found under his birth name, Giuseppe Giudice, in the Federal Bureau of Prisons system, which shows a March 2019 release date listed for him.
Regarding Joe's early release, neither his family's lawyer, James Leonard Jr., or Teresa have commented yet, but I can only imagine they are thrilled with the news. I mean, it really is great for Teresa and their four daughters, Gia, Milania, Audriana, and Gabriella.
On Wednesday, Teresa opened up for the first time since Joe entered prison. In a video shared by Bravo's The Daily Dish, she said,
I just want to say thank you so much to all my fans out there. All your love and support means the world to me and my family. It has been a difficult week for us, but we're making it through, thank God. Joe's doing as well as expected. Of course we spoke to him. And I just want to say thank you again from the bottom of my heart for being there, and for all your beautiful tweets. Love, love, love you from my family to yours.
Before speaking out via video, Teresa also took to Twitter to thank her fans for all of their love and support. Prior to beginning his sentence, Joe even spoke with People, where he appeared to be quite positive about everything. "It's not a big deal," Giudice he said about going to prison. "They tell me that the low security and the camp there are almost the same so it's no big deal."
