Teresa Giudice Talks About Joe's Week In Prison
Regardless of how you feel about reality television and The Real Housewives franchise, I think the one thing most people can agree on is that those women are incredibly strong. And, when it comes to the Real Housewives of New Jersey, there’s no one tougher than Teresa Giudice. Especially in the face of back-to-back prison sentences she and her husband, Joe Giudice, have been forced to serve for their fraud and bankruptcy conviction in 2015. So when Teresa Giudice released a video to The Daily Dish after Joe’s first week in prison, it was shocking to no one that the reality television star was incredibly composed and a pillar of strength.
Speaking about what it’s been like for her husband Joe Giudice during his first days in prison, Teresa said in the video that Joe was “doing as well as be expected.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey star said that she had already spoken to him since reporting to Fort Dix for his sentence. But about what Joe experience in the first few days of his prison sentence, Teresa stayed mum. Instead, she took the opportunity, while standing in front of family photos in her home, to thank all of the fans for their support during this difficult time for her entire family.
According to the video, Teresa says that she and her family are “making it through,” but even she admits that it’s been a difficult week for all of them. Considering that Joe Giudice reported for his 41-month prison sentence on March 23 for bankruptcy and fraud charges, I can only imagine what she and her four daughters are going through in the first few days of Joe being gone. Knowing that her husband will be gone for over three years, too, must be even more difficult for Teresa and her family. Still, in this most recent video, the matriarch of her family is staying strong and staying composed.
With four daughters at home and a husband in prison, life has to be challenging for Teresa Giudice these days, but her strength in the face of these trials really is admirable.
