Today is Tom Hiddleston's 33rd birthday. In honor of the birth of this amazing man who has charmed us all with his adorableness and excellent acting skills, we've compiled this list of some of his greatest moments with his fans. Hiddleston's personality really comes out when he's interacting with the Hiddlestoners, as they're called, as he's so gracious and kind to each and every one.
I know from experience: I got a photo with him once, which was the greatest moment of my life so far. I handed him my phone and to my embarrassment I didn't hit the button to turn the picture to face me so he had to fumble around with my phone before taking the photo of us. But he didn't make me feel bad for my mistake and didn't act annoyed by this or any of the fans vying for his attention. He truly sets out to be the kind of celebrity that fans are proud to say they love, and he loves them right back.
In a recent interview an Australian reporter started to say, "Your fans are very fanatic..." and Hiddleston jumped in to interrupt declaring them "passionate" instead. He accepts us for the fangirls we are, and is all too happy to oblige in taking photos, hugging, or even just chatting with us. Still don't believe me? Here are nine of his greatest fan encounters:

After the Iron Man 3 premiere a flock of fans found Hiddeston in the parking garage and they were a little overactive. But he was patient and polite and told them that if everyone calmed down he would take photos with each person. That's not how many celebrities react to overwhelming crowds, and he certainly deserves respect for that.

His fans put together a "Project Wendy" book based on the mustache he named when he did the MTV "Loki'd" gag with Josh Horowitz. In the book were pictures of fans from all across the world wearing mustaches to express their love for Tom. The day after he received the book, MTV released the bloopers of the video. Coincidence? I think not. Knowing him, Hiddleston probably asked MTV to do so in order to thank his fans.
So if you have to pick any celebrity to be obsessed with, Tom Hiddleston is a pretty good choice.
