Tonight's Sochi Olympic Opening Ceremony wasn't light on laughs. From an Austrian athlete falling on his face during the Parade of Nations to Meredith Vieira's ridiculous commentary, the night was full of funny moments. But it's not really a noteworthy event unless people around the world are GIF-ing and Vine-ing, right? Well, fortunately there was enough multimedia coverage on the Internet to officially make the Opening Ceremony worth paying attention to if you're not particularly into the sports part of it.
Astute viewers were quick to capture funny moments for all of us to retweet and reblog as the very long event carried on. With such a long night, you're bound to have missed some stuff.
