What better way to celebrate an engagement than with Disney's Simba? Clearly, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell love The Lion King like everyone else, because The Bachelor couple attended the Broadway show on Thursday in New York City. Thankfully, there is photographic evidence of their adorable outing. Higgins shared a photo on Instagram of his fiancée on stage holding Simba up in the air like anyone would if given the opportunity. Alongside the photo, he wrote, "My girl practicing parenting." Well, that's one way to learn the ins and outs of parenthood!
Whether you were rooting for Bushnell or JoJo Fletcher, you can't deny that Higgins and Bushnell have chemistry and look beyond cute together, especially when they're living out their Lion King dreams (or so I assume). Clearly, they aren't wasting any time spending time together and making memories. Watching Simba's story on Broadway will surely become a cherished memory for this reality couple.
As for Bushnell "practicing parenting," during their Tuesday Good Morning America appearance, they opened up about starting a family. "We laughed about this the other day," Higgins said about having children. "I think, what did we say, three kids?" Bushnell replied, "I really want three, yeah. So, you agreed, right?" To which Higgins said, "I did agree, just to be safe."
That said, don't expect kids anytime soon, because they are just enjoying life and the fact that they no longer have to keep their relationship a secret. "I don't know when soon is," Bushnell said about when they'll start a family. "But obviously we want to get married and also kind of live life. We really enjoy each other."
Based on the photos of their date, I think it's safe to say they are living life and enjoying each other's company. I mean, how could you not when it involves The Lion King?
