Here's Every 'Batman v Superman' Spoiler Out There
The internet is abuzz with rumors and loaded claims about the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, so let me begin this article with the biggest spoiler alert of all time: this article contains potential Batman v Superman spoilers, one of which deals with the kickass Wonder Woman plot line fans are totally drooling over. Big secrets ahead. YUGE.
If you're on the fence about reading ahead and need some extra time to weigh your options, here's a quick review of the movie's basics: grumpy, ol' Batman takes off for Metropolis and gets into it with Superman, who seems to be tripping on his own power and causing some mass destruction in the city. The Dark Knight and Son of Krypton go to war with each other and bring in a whole crew of additional superheroes from the DC universe. Lex Luthor is also there, just hanging out with his shiny head and cackling; explosions, grunts, and rippling muscles ensue, sparking the beginning of another bombastic franchise. While the film doesn't come out until March 25, folks who've seen the film are hitting the web and filling in the blanks left by the trailers. Without further ado, here are my favorite spoilers about Batman v Superman:
Wonder Woman Is The One Who Offs Doomsday
It's neither Batman nor Superman who kicks the main villain, Doomsday, in the tail, but the Amazon warrior princess herself. According to Redditor deadpool_duh who claims to have seen the film already (so take this with a grain of salt), via Moviepilot:
When our trio come together to defeat Doomsday, "there is a fantastic continuous tracking shot where we see Wonder Woman blasting through Doomsday, pushing him onto Superman, who laser-visions him into a Batman grenade."
Wonder Woman then slices that bad guy's head right off.
Robin Is Dead
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ben Affleck said,
"He’s bitterly disappointed in the past that he’s lost this guy who fought by his side. That character’s death must have been devastating to him, and he’s suffered. We get the sense that he’s suffered a lot of devastating losses before this movie even starts."
Maybe this an opportunity for Zach Snyder to introduce a new character, maybe young computer whiz or a number-one fan turned sidekick. Either way, it sounds like I might need to bring tissues.
Or Is She?
Rumors about a female Robin-figure are all up on the interwebs, and I sincerely hope this is the case. The costumes could be amazing and the implications of such a character would be a step in the right direction. I'm personally endorsing Amandla Stenberg for the role.
What comes next? Reddit is currently a hotbed of spoilers, so be sure to advert your eyes and avoid the website should you want to remain in the dark until the credits roll.
