It's here! Finally. After weeks of teasing and fevered fan excitement, Too Faced's Sweet Peach palette arrived. It's comprised of 18 sweet shades and comes with a $49 price tag. Too Facers and makeupistas have been impatiently awaiting the arrival of this gorgeous, summery, and peach-scented collection, which also includes pinks, corals, and purples. The excitement was similar to that which surrounds the brand's best-selling, limited edition Peanut Butter & Jelly palette, which sells out regularly but is also restocked often. Now that the Peach palette has gone on sale, you want to know if it's sold out, don't you?
The Too Faced Peach Palette is indeed sold out. As of 8 a.m. EDT, the palette is no longer available. Observe the screen shot below for evidence that the palette is out of stock! If you missed out, feel free to "Boo" and "Hiss" until you start to feel better or until the restock. The brand did post about some site technical difficulties in the wee hours of the morning, too.
It seems that Too Faced was prepared for these anticipated palettes to sell out, especially after experiencing the raging passion that customers expressed whenever the PB&J palette was out of stock. Brand founder Jerrod Blandino noted his expectations for the Peach palette in an Insta post with the #GonnaSellOut hashtag.
It's understandable why makeup lovers have responded so intensely to this palette. There are so many shades and textures, and therefore endless combos and possibilities. That means users are able to get creative. The peachy shades are ripe for spring, summer, and warm climates. There are lots of dark hues that can be used year-round or to add a little edge to feminine look...
... which is exactly what I think will be the aesthetic with whatever the Kat Von D x Too Faced collabo ends up being.
The palette is limited edition, which also increases the "want" factor among makeup fans. It will only be around for a short period of time, so customers want to scoop it up before it's gone for good. We don't know how often Too Faced will restock it, either.
Those colors, though. They are absolutely and utterly gorgeous, wearable with all skin tones, and present innumerable combinations.
The palette smells like a peach patch and the shadows are infused with antioxidant-rich peach essence, too. I mean, could it be any more perfect? Good luck scooping one up when the supply is replenished. Troll the Too Faced IG for further updates, too.
